Corsair mouse issue

Hi all

I have a Corsair harpoon mouse and this afternoon have came across an issue when gaming..

The mouse laser doesn't seem to be on and the mouse doesn't react as sensitive as it was before, it will make the game look all laggy/jittery

I've done the below to try sort the issue

cleaned the laser part,
Clicked the sensitivity button,
change ports,
Checked its not the game laggy (its not)

I tried the reset tips on the corsair website, clicked left and right mouse button when unplugged etc

Anything else I can do please

I tried the port next to the original and had the same problem however I just tried one of the other ports and all seems fine, very odd... Why does that happen?
