I did own 2 x 1 gig of XMS2 6400 ram, of which one stick just stopped working. I contacted clockers and was told it probably would take 4-6 weeks to get an exchange via clockers RMA. I was informed by clockers that it would be quicker for me to send my ram back to corsair in Fremont C.A. Its now been 4 weeks, and my courier claims the item was delivered on the 5th Feb, but corsair claims it hasnt. Now i cannot get no mail response from either the royal mail, or corsair in the states. Im not best pleased..... and yes the item was insured for its value, but royail mail states that if its delivered on their records, no claim can be made. A sad day indeed

Cheers, any help is most appreciated, as i really cant do a lot apart from send mail after mail.
If u can get in touch via email , it would be most helpful ;)

I cannot send PMs here for some reason. Can you post at the Corsair forum and use the Customer Care section. Post me a link and I'll get customer service right on it. I am specmike at our home forum.

As the supplier of the item and the company with which you entered a contract of sale under the sale of goods act, I'd always insist that OCUK dealt with your RMA.

And if they have stock in then there's no valid reason for a 4-6 weeks exchange delay.

I wish i had , but it was on clockers suggestion i send to corsair direct as they advised it would be a lot faster turnaround, which it should have been if the royal mail and corsair bothered to do there jobs properly. Another 48 hours has passed and not one email from either of them

Wellibob, let's you and I get into direct contact so I can assist you here. Do you use instant messaging? I'd like to personally help you here. Corsair does not like to allow this to happen to their customers.

Addition, am now in direct contact with corsair, who are running about like idiots to get it sorted, lets hope so aye...ttfn

Good result. But there is no way you should have been directed to send a faulty item back to the USA when the supplier who sold you the item is here and has replacement stock in hand.

Not rally sure what is happening with OCUK with regards their seeming reluctance to honour warranty claims under the sale of goods act.

Mail i got from corsiar.

Our records indicate that there was a problem with the qty on the RMA you applied for, we have corrected your RMA and received your bad modules on 2/23/07.

Unfortunately we are currently backlogged on your replacements we will ship you the replacements in the next 24-48 hours

Finally a result, thanks to all concerned, and a big thankyou to Yellowbeard ;)

Great news! Sorry for the delay and the quantity problem but, at least your modules are not lost in the mail. Tnanks for your patience and understanding and I hope the new modules arrive quickly and perform well for you.
