Ive just done a new build using a Corsair Obsidian 650D, its actually my first build.

One question i have, the front fan seems to be quite loud, is that the norm with the stock front fan on this case ? Any suggestions to possibly change it, can the fan speed be reduced at all, my fans are connected to the motherboard, the front fan is on syst fan 2.

One other quick thing, is there supposed to be a fan controller on the case, ive seen all the cabled for it but can't find any dial or switch anywhere or are the cables just there to allow you to add a fan controller ?

@ fan controller there is a little switch inside the hotswap bay, hi or low.

Thanks

Crikey, that wasn't easy to spot lol. I thought it was part of the door latch, i presume the fans need to be hooked up to that.

Do you use the 650D ? Whats best, having the fans connected to the motherboard or having them connected to that switch ?

Did you notice the front fan was quite loud on the 650D when you first started yours up ?

Never used the 650d myself. The stock fans are the same as the 600t I think, replaced mine because of the noise.

I never use mobo fan control(looks messy) so I couldn't compare them.

I never had a problem with the font fan on my 650d (i had the fan reducing kit thing on forgot the proper name) so i guess im lucky but replaced my front one with a 200mm Coolermaster megaflow. My whole pc runs silent
