really want to get one of these, but need advise please.

my cpu is an I7 C0 o/c 3.8 with a corsair H50 to keep her cooled using push/ pull with 2 noctua fans out the rear of the antec 902.

also running a asus eah 5870 (stock clock atm)

temps atm are 44 amb / 69 max.

ive heard i would need to change the fans as the corsair ones dont cut it.
my question is this, what fans to get and in what config would suit best?

i use fractal design fans atm but im thinking of changing them. one thing i would recommend is getting a 140mm fan filter and turning the rear exhaust fan around so it intakes cool air, theres more than enough exhaust with the top 3 fans. I also put my H-50 on the top of the case in the middle fan space.

well i got the case .. very pleased, and temps are better than my my antec 902 even using just the stock fans the 800D came with :)

at the moment my H50 is conected to the top of the case in the middle slot, still using the noctua fans push/pulling air into the case.

although im happy with the temps, i would like to add a fan controller and replace all the std corsair fans.
what would be the ideal choice of fans and controller to get a good mix of air to noise ( dont mind a bit of fan noise but would like to be able to control the noise when extreme air isnt required ?)

I too would be interested in some advice on fan controllers and suitable fans for the 800d as I am considering the purchase as stage 1 in a watercooled build (air cooled for stage one), advice on the 140mm fans is what im really looking at as they are limited Akasa vipers is what I was looking into for the 120mm ones.

I bought myself one of these as the fan controller (8 slot job more than enough for the 6 in the corsair 2 extra if i manage to squeeze a second radiator into the bottom compartment)

Fans wise i went for:

and i bought one of these for lighting to make sure it looks pretty through that huge picture window!

This is the start get it all wired in with air cooling then in a few months time when my bank balance recovers I will buy the watercooling bit by bit then the real fun starts

Ive got two vipers on a cpu cooler and im very impressed with them, cooling an i7 at 4ghz, have them set at 1100 rpm, idle temps at 41-36-41-36, virtually silent at that speed.
