Corsair PC Case survey

Done the online survey as well and a few extra pieces of feedback are below.

The case I own is a Corsair Carbide 500r

Things I appreciated at the time of buying but have since felt I didn't need over time were;

the 3.5" HDD cages. I had one WD 1TB HDD which I just sat at the bottom of my case. Since moved to two SSDs, which do the same. I'd loved to have discreet mounting round the back for them.

the 5.25" bays, only using the top one for a third party fan controller. Did start out with an optical drive in there but ditched it as all my software is from online store downloads.

preinstalled fans with LED lighting and the propriety fan controller. Once the fans were removed for better/quieter cooling solutions the controller became redundant due to the propriety fan connectors used.

Better dust filters would have been a nice addition.

Other than that small critique I've really liked my case and I'm not in a rush to leave it behind any time soon.

I still like the aesthetics of the case, although I have finally (after more than a year of owning it) replaced the side panel window grill with a persex window mod.

Survey done. I've got a 900D & think it's a great case - there's just a few things that really annoy me about the case.

- Give us the option to completely remove the 5.25" drive cages
- Installed ODD Drives look odd as they don't line up with the metal front when installed
- Cosmetic mid plate should be there as standard
- Grommet's for all the motherboard tray holes please
 
Just moved from a 350D to a 450D as I wanted more room for SLI'd GFX and the choice of ATX boards next time around but what I'd really like would be an Obsidian styled and featured version of the Carbide 540 with horizontal 5.25" bays.

I've been using a 250d now for a month and before that a 540, one thing thats obvious straight away is that the 250d is a super little case but it could easily be an matx form factor this should be done imo, mini itx is great (I'm loving it right now) but the 250d could easily be an matx case also.

Pre fitted internal lighting would be a good idea especially if it had selectable colours.
 
Done,

I would like to see a stylish full tower case, 800d 900d but with the looks of the 600t and cosmos 2.

Its going too be seen, If im spending so that much on a case at least it could look good, it needs to look better then a box.
