Corsair PSU Cable Compatibility

Hi there, I have recently purchased a Corsair HXi 1200W power supply in anticipation of a new GPU. I am currently running on a Corsair RMx 750 W white edition. The cables with the white edition look nice inside my pc and I was wondering if it would be okay to use them with my new 1200W PSU? (They are both fully modular)

If both PSUs use the same version of the cable, should be fine.
If the cables in question are the original from the first (older) PSU, I wouldn't be concerned, as long as they're the same version.
But if they're the Corsair Premium ones or any other, even reputable brand, compatible cable, depending on the GPU you'll be using, you may run into problems.
Used the RM1000i, which had some minor coil whine. Using the Phanteks extension for the GPU, random issues. Using the Corsair Premium ones, more coil whine.
If the GPU you're considering or using is the 3090, I would stick with the manufacturer provided ones.

looking at their compatibility chart, it looks like the 24-pin is different. the hxi line uses a type 3 cable, with the rmx using a type 4, and according to a note on the page the only difference between type 3 & 4 is the pinout on the 24-pin, so i would strongly recommend changing at least that cable
