Hi i just recently built my first pc and used the corsair vx450 psu, but when installing the sata power cables the first one at the top of the lead went in straight away but the ones below that were upside down and in order to attach my hard drive i had to turn it upside down. i just want to know is this normal for corsair psu's.

thanks hassan

Have you tried unplugging the one at the top, and plugging the rest in, and then plugging the one at the top in (you'll need to turn it over).

ive tried loads of combinations but it makes it look a mess and put a lot of strain on leads and components does any one else have this problem with thier corsair psu

I have a TX650 , I think the 1 is upside down to accomodate an optical drive a the top

of the case a the others for HDD's usually towards the bottom. Of course if your PSU is

located at the bottom of the case this can be awkward. That said the leads are so long

I didn't have a problem.
