corsair PSU

I recently brought a corsair psu from oc - but when i try and boot my pc the psu just makes a clicking noise, any1 know what i shud do in this situation?

is the psu repairable?

its not short circuiting as i have tried in multiple mobo's

Contact OcUK directly (post in the OcUK Customer Services Forum at the bottom of the list of forums). Give the symptoms and ask for advice and whether it should be returned.

It sounds like a transistor element (voltage regulator or power transistor) is stuffed. Don't try to fix it yourself...

Yup, do as ChrisLX200 suggested although another cause might be something getting caught on the fan.

Most likely, don't take it apart else you may void your warranty.

Your best bet is to give OCUK a call and set up an RMA. They'll sort you out a new one in no time, they have done for me before.
