Corsair - RGB Enhancement Kit

I can't see this on OC's don't think its sold here, but has anyone bought this kit from Corsair ?

I've got a new build being completed by Overclockers, which is 32gb ram ( 2 slots ) and was thinking about buying this enchancement kit to fill the remaining two slots.

I have read some stuff online with people having problems when putting these blank sticks into their rigs ? Not sure whether its BS or not, or if people genuinely have problems using it ( when there's no ram on the dimms, just the pcb and the leds )

MSI and now ASUS have their own software compatible with corsair . or it could be they haventy updated their software when installing the blanks

Do the blank rgb modules have update able firmware on them?

I would presume so, as the firmware on the ram modules is only for the RGB functionality. Would be kind of stupid if they don't include that on the enchancement kit sticks, as they are exactly the same, just missing the memory chips.

Can't find anything on their site though ( but thats the same for just the standard actual ram )

More so the mobo and corsair software.

Aorus were first to do the Blank RGB units , and there is a controller on the Blanks PCB , uses certain pin on the dimm slot to communicate. Corsaiir should be the same .
