Corsair RGB fans and hub

Is there an easier and cheaper way to power these RGB fans then using either the fan headers on the motherboard or a commander pro/core ?

I’ve got RGB hub but I need a cheap way to power them ?
 
you can get splitters and use more than one fan per header if you need to.
usually 2-4 per header. check motherboard manual so you don't overload a header.

I'm looking at buying one of these but with some extra fans, anyone know how many fans will attach to the corsair hub please? Is it just the 3 that come with it or can I plug in more?
 
Depends which hub ?

The Corsair hub provides rgb lighting to 6 fans. The commander offerings also offer power and RGB. Cables everywhere to chassis power headers otherwise which can look bad

not had a Corsair fan in a while, but i assume these are standard connectors.. and not propriety ones. Ifs so i have a Lampton SP901 kicking around which i can donate to you.. was gonna throw it in the bin but can be of use to you
