Hi all,
My Corsair RM1000 PSU is cutting out randomly. It's like a power cut. It happens randomly. If I wiggle the power cord a bit in the PSU socket, it restores power. It's odd, it feels like there is some issue with the connection between power cord and PSU plug, but I do not know how this could fail as it never moves.
The only other thing that is weird is that I can replicate "wiggle cord to restore power" by pushing one of the graphics cards inwards towards the motherboard, and this can have the same effect in restoring power.
I have checked all the fittings, everything seems to be working fine. The cards are well mounted in place. I have an OCed system - see specs in sig - and everything seems to be fine in terms of temps, flow, fittings.
Is my PSU dying? Or is this symptomatic of some other underlying problem?
Any advice much appreciated, am worried
Thanks guys.
