Yes, before you ask, i like corsair lmao, and i can get awesome prices on both, but the RM1000 is £15 less than the AX860, but the 860 is a platinum and the 1000 is a gold, and im going for CF reference R9 290's so i need le juice!
Im not looking to spend a large amount, as i dont have a massive amount to spend and i want to get both...
So if you could let me know what will be better, That would be awesome!

Personally neither, Corsair is way overhyped. If it was me I would be looking at the EVGA Supernova G2 1000w with it's whopping 10 year warranty or the Superflower Leadex Gold 1000w.

The EVGA is built by Superflower and based on the Leadex Gold platform. The whole of the 5 year warranty on the Superflower is with OCUK so no expensive shipping to send it to Europe if it should fail.

Argueably you could get away with the 850w versions of the above but it could get close if overclocking and I would prefer the extra headroom myself.
