Is the Corsair rm750x modular psu decent would you guys on here recommend or would you recommend something different?
I’m planning on upgrading from my kolink kl-600 that I bought a few years ago on here.

Unless overclocking 650W is plenty.
Very few gaming PCs draw more than 350W during gaming.
Also that Kolink isn't even true 500W PSU.

Corsair RMx is good. Phanteks AMP is also well priced.

Sorry what do u mean kolink ain’t a true 500w psu? Also the price difference between a 650w Corsair and 750w is only £8 more and I’m not 100% sure about overclocking yet but I think it’s something I would quite like to get into.

Some arbitrary peak output marketing is lying and that 600 has no honest business for being in Kolink's sticker.
And only 12V output really counts for how powerfull PSU is.
So that Kolink can be really considered to be only 450W PSU.
Hence already honest 650W PSU is quite lot more powerfull.

In case of Ryzens there's no usefull overlocking as far as gaming is concerned.
Or it's low core count model, which doesn't draw that much.
High core count models simply don't clock manually high enough without some more exotic cooling.
Also Intels would need some very heavy duty cooling to clock any meaningfull amount.
