I'm planning to add my other 1080ti to my main rig. I've done a power supply calculator and according to my components its fine, has anyone had a similar experience?

The cards at 1080ti FE editions was im happy with them blowing out and i dont mind the noise.

What confuses me though... the FE cards have a 8 and a 6 pin power connector and the back of the power supply shows one input for PCI-E even though it is SLI compatible.

here is a diagram of the back of the power supply. Could i connect the second card to the peripheral input? Or do i have to bite the bullet and buy a new power supply with another PCI-E input?

Thanks for the reply! I didn't realise the ones underneath were also pci-e inputs.

My only concern now is that before I did the power consumption test I didn't factor in the new CPU (7940x) and it seems that's going to suck a bit more power

Yeah I think the power draw is similar if not the same. Remember they are default foundwrs edition and I'm not overclocking. However I think it's better safe them sorry so I'll be probably go for 1000 one.
