Right, my last thread got a little confused with people saying the shop should be doing stuff legally etc, when the point was just to inform people of what is involed with RMA'ing this memory.

PLEASE do not put stuff about legal etc, I know my legal rights, was offered for it to be sorted etc.

To date:

18/9 (Tues) - Logged ram problem on corsair website
19/9 (Wed) - Recieved email saying got request log!
21/9 (Thurs) - Recieved email saying RMA approved and will get RMA number within 24 hours
24/9 (Sun) - Sent email asking for RMA number as not recieved!
25/9 (Mon) - Recieved email asking to repeat information already supplied but on an spreadsheet!
26/9 (Tues) - Recieve RMA number & ram sent (Airmail insured! By the way, Cosair RMA returns are USA only!)
29/9 (Fri) - Recieve another email from Corsiar with different RMA number!!

If anyone has had similar problems with OTHER ram manufactorers, or good service to recommend them, then please do. The idea of this thread is maybe by my problems and issues, other people can be 'steered' toward better service providers, or know the risk if they are unlucky enough to get a faulty product.

Tooks, how did you manage a turn around in a week?!
I sent mine a week last something, and its still not back! Not even acknowledge they got it!!!
Me thinks will claim insurance from Post Office, and if it turns up, then I made a couple of quid! :p

I sent this memory by International Signed for airmail, on the 29/9, and I have been told today it was delivered, today!!
Thumbs up to the postal system as its taken 2 frigin weeks!!

Well blow me!!!
When they said they had recieved it, they meant it had been delivered!
Its all installed and running 475.6MHz on 2.2v with 4-4-4-12 timings!
I have 380MHz FSB with 9x giving 3.4MHz and 4:5 divider!

Now thats more like it!
Will run some tests tonight/tomorrow and post some std and OC'd timings!
Think memtest will be run tonight!!!

Well thats the end of that for me! I did write a stroppy letter as it all took so long to try and get some C3 stuff, but it did not work!! Don't ask don't get I say!!!
