Corsair Series PSUs, differences

Hi,

Was just looking at Corsair PSUs RMi Series and RMx Series, they both seem to have basically identical specifications so what is the actual difference between the two? Is it just the Corsair Link Digital or is there some actual difference in actual PSU, loudness or something like that.

Pretty sure the only difference between them is the corsair link.

The RMi has a better fan and the Corsair link software.

The difference between the 2 is minor. Like what lee32uk said above, RMi has FDB while RMx has rifle bearing fan and has no fan test button. And of course, RMx does not have Corsair Link support. Another thing that's worth noting, RMx utilizes the new "Type 4" cables, http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2015/july/explanation-of-rmi-new-type-4-cables
