Corsair Sleeved PSU Cables

I recently bought a Corsair AX1000 and the cables are very stiff especially the 24pin that goes directly into the motherboard. More so then my previous seasonic PSU, which has made cable management a bit more difficult.

I saw that you can buy sleeved cables, apart from looks do these offer more flexibility (i.e. they bend more than standard cables)?
