Anyone know the read and write speeds of these Corsair TurboFlash USB sticks?

can't find much on the net about the respective read/write speeds but they work with Readyboost so they should be fast enough

They're listed on a competitor site, so i can't link to that, but i do have one of the drives, and they are good, just not the most flashy looking of drives.

i think they are 19mb a second

If they are 19 MB/s, then they are no faster then the Corsair Flash Voyager sticks which are: read 19 MB/s & write 13 MB/s.

So why the extra £5.29 for the 1GB versions?

This all I could find

If you were to buy a 1GB TurboFlash and a 1GB Flash Voyager right now, the comparison would have to be at different file sizes. The TurboFlash drive was developed with a controller that is faster at small file transfers to work with the ReadyBoost option in Vista. Flash Voyager will have a higher peak bandwidth at a 100 MB file transfer. Depends on what your primary use for the drive will be which one is faster.
