Corsair Twin2X 1 Dimm Memtest Error

Just got an error on test 6 of memtest with 478MB of failing mem, very bad

. Will I have to send both of the dimms back to overclockers.co.uk seeing that it is a twinX pack or just the 1 bad dimm. Last time I had to send both back to corsair but I really don't want to send it to america again, too far away, too long to wait.

Is it new memory ?
Im sure overclockers will take it if its within their own 1 year warrant which im sure is standard on every item unless stated otherwise and after that corsair will continue to offer the rest of the lifetime warranty.

The set will need to be be returned to have the set replaced.

You will have to return both of the sticks because, as you have said, its part of a set. If you purchased the memory within 30 days you can send them back to OcUK, if its after 30 days then I think you will have to return them to Corsair. Best to contact OcUK first to see though.

Yeah the set is brand new, haven't oced it sent a e-note yesterday but obiviosly have to wait till monday. Hopefully they will rma it because I really don't want to wait for the shipping to america and back that would suck.

Im sure ocuk will accept it as I sent my newly recieved memory back a few days ago as it wasnt able to pass memtest at any settings and the same day they recieved the mem back they sent out a new set which I hope to recieve on tuesday.

Definetly sure its not a voltage or timing related issue? would troubleshoot before writing it off.

My corsair went wrong after 5 months, and OCUK took mine back for me after I realised you'd have to post the RAM to California for direct replacement.

They said it takes around a month using that route, but mine was just over 2 weeks.
