corsair vengeance comparability

So ages ago i bought 8gb of 1600 ddr3 vengeance ram with a stepping of c8, This

I have bought another set of 8gb(the low profile version) but i was unable to find any c8, only c9. This

What route should i take? run them all at c8? or c9? im fairly confident they will be compatible together.

Try them at C8, stability test and if they work then great.

If not try them at C9, stability test to be sure then done.

if the other kit could do the same times at the same voltage then it would have been sold at them. also performance difference will be sub 2%, so no point running a kit our of it comfort zone
