This is intended for AMD systems (EXPO), ideally you want XMP 3.0.

Where is this for? The rear?

This is a higher wattage than Corsair's spec, are the PSU's physical dimensions the same? This is the page I used:

I assume you're aware that these choices are overkill for the majority of users? If it was me, I'd take the opportunity (since this is a custom build) to downgrade them, but I don't know what you use the PC for.

Many thanks for your reply/input its highly appreciated,
I'll change the.memory to what was said before, I just didn't know it was for AMD systems.
Yes the fan is.for.the rear of the case, as I've seen a few reviews and they all say it doesn't come with one. Not really needed but just a finishing touch.
I checked that link ypu sent and yes that PSU is compatible with the 5000t case.
I mainly use my system for zbrush/3ds max and games. My old system is a bit outdated and I just wanted one that would last.a fair wile before upgrading again.

Much appreciated

can you please fully write down what i need to order for building it myself ?
The OP hasn't been back since they posted, so you might not get a reply.

I can answer for where I got the spec, I took it from Corsair's website directly and the reddit post that I linked to (which reported what their build included):
PROCESSOR: INTEL CORE i9 13900KS
GRAPHICS CARD: GEFORCE RTX 4090
MEMORY: 64GB DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB DDR5 5600MT/s
STORAGE: 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD, 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD
MOTHERBOARD: Z790 DDR5
POWER SUPPLY: CORSAIR 1000W 80+ GOLD FULLY MODULAR
COOLING: CORSAIR H150i ELITE CAPELLIX

[...] Contained in the box was the computer, the antennas for the ASUS Prime Z790-P MB's WiFi.

...

My unit came with a PNY GeForce 4090. The unit that Just!N Tech reviewed shipped with a Zotac GeForce 4090. This recent YouTube Unboxing Vid of this same machine by KaoMinerva shipped with a Palit "GameRock" GeForce 4090

...

Luckily, the unit did ship with the ASUS Prime MB that Just!n Tech had in their build. I liked this board for the Intel i9-13900KS that's in this machine and they didn't switch that out.

The case includes 3x 120mm fans for the front (pre-installed) and the OP added the additional fan for the rear. You don't need one, but it is sensible with a high-end PC like this.

I think all is fine but need your advice if the power Supply fits with this or not. Thank you.
You're aware that the Apex is an extreme overclocking motherboard, right? (hence only 2 ram slots)

The Shift PSU is listed as compatible with the 5000T on Corsair's website, here.

Edit: I just noticed you have changed the cooler, this is not listed on Corsair's website for the 5000T:

Compatible Liquid CoolersH55, H60, H75, H80i, H90, H100i, H105, H110i, H115i, H150i

Thank you for your reply. You are right that it is extreme overclocked and maximum 2 slot of ram. I think it is better to go for Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero :

I am just trying to understand what would be the difference between 1200 watt and 1000 watt? cant decide.

If you don't need the features of these boards (e.g. Thunderbolt 4 on the rear I/O, front USB fast charge/PD, integrated DAC, Wifi7, onboard power/reset/retry buttons, DP over Type-C, retention of a CPU PCI-E 4.0 M.2 slot, even when using PCI-E 5.0), then I consider them waaay overpriced. The Z790 Tomahawk would do for the majority of users;

It is likely that they would both be fine, but if you're getting a 14900K and a 4090, I think having more safety headroom with a 1200 just makes sense, especially as the cost is a small % increase relative to your total build cost.

FYI: I think the reason that cooler is not listed as compatible with the 5000T is because it is 420mm.

Thank you for your message. Z790 Tomahawk is a good choice but as far as I check it does not support 14th gen processor though.

"I think the reason that cooler is not listed as compatible with the 5000T is because it is 420mm." --> it means it would not be suitable for 5000T?

The max listed on their website here is 360mm.

I'd only buy one that is in their list of compatible coolers.

The Tomahawk has flashback, so if the BIOS is too old, you can update it without a supported CPU.

Alternatively, MSI's Z790 Tomahawk MAX or Z790-A MAX do have "out of the box" support, or Gigabyte's Z790 Aorus Elite X.

Thank you for the link and reference. then does it mean that I also would need to go for :
Corsair Hydro Series iCUE Link LCD H150i (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...b-performance-liquid-cpu-c-coo-crs-00969.html)

instead of :
Corsair Hydro Series iCUE Link H170i (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...formance-liquid-cpu-cooler-coo-crs-00968.html)

because of the diameter difference? because it has been mentioned as in the website also :
Compatible Liquid Coolers
H55, H60, H75, H80i, H90, H100i, H105, H110i, H115i, H150i

Yes. H150i is compatible, but H170i (420mm) is not.

The spec for the i8100 on their website here uses the "H150i Elite Capellix", which later on in their description they say is the 360mm version.
