I have a Corsair Vengeance K70 (red) keyboard and intermittently when I boot my PC the keyboard is unresponsive when windows 7 boots.
When I boot the PC the LED backlighting comes on but then when windows boots the backlighting goes off and sometimes it does not come back on again (so the keyboard doesn't work at all and I can't login to windows). Unplugging the USB cables from the PC and then plugging them back in again fixes the issue.
I've updated the firmware to the latest version (FW 1.09) which I thought had fixed the issue but it just happened again so I guess not! I have also unplugged the keyboard and uninstalled everything under keyboards in device manager then plugged it back in again to let windows download the drivers again. Currently using USB 3.0 ports but I have tried different USB ports too.
I used to have a wireless logitech keyboard and mouse but I can't see anything to uninstall that might have been left behind when I changed.
Any ideas?
