Corsair Vengeance latency difference?

not really, the 88824 will be a bit faster but not enough for you to actually notcie without benching it.

Will I benefit that much more with the lower latency OC???

Do you mean if you intended to OC the memory?

If you mean will the lower latencys affect the CPU OC then no it will make no difference at all.

If it's for a SB build then low voltage is king when it comes to clocking and the XMS3 will usually run at ~1.5V (certainly under 1.58V) which is a real bonus.

You only need to worry about the CPU OC - as the memory will have very little impact on peformance in games (the XMS 12800 being more than enough), unlike the CPU which will be doing most of the grunt work along with the GPU.

If you still want to overclock the memory then the lower latency spec may give you a bit more headroom but there's no guarantee. The G.SKill have had quite a lot of success with overclocking...
