Helllo guys im on Asus ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING mobo with 5800x3d I was wondering if I could oc my ram a bit?
current settings are with docp in bios running 3600mhz 18-22-22-42 at 1.35volts any suggestions to get abit more performance
Find out what chips they are first and then Google the ddr4 ram guide and use that.
I've never bothered looking for it until last week when I realised my ram was micron b die. 3600mhz 18-22-22-42 as well now running 16-16-17-17 at 3800mhz 1:1
If you're on windows 10 you can try a programme called thaiphoon burner. It will be on the chips but they will obviously have a heatsink on. If you can get to the sticker on the side and Google the numbers you may get some insight as well
