Corsair Warranty

Nope, doesn't look like it.

The following parts are not covered by this warranty:

* Modules that are missing the label containing Corsair’s part number
* Modules that are purchased from other end users
* Modules that Corsair determines were not manufactured by Corsair, i.e., counterfeit Corsair modules

Extract from the corsair site.

I would love to thank you though! Had no idea corsair carried a lifetime warranty and it's helped me out :)

Usualy they do replace them (direct) even if you purchased them 2nd hand.

the market they compete in (Gskill, OCZ, Geil etc) all allow it.

You need an invoice to RMA to GeIL...if you can get the original invoice for your Corsair stuff they should be ok with it, or you could buy some of the same RAM, RMA it with that invoice and then sell that on. Depends how much it's worth.

I have returned two lots of ram to Corsair. Once I just posted on their forum, last time on their rma page. I have never had to show proof of purchase, just proof that the memory wasn't working correctly...
