Has anyone else had problems with Corsair ?????

There not willing to RMA psu that has 7 years warranty on it because i dont have the original Receipt

Yes

We apologize, but purchasing from ebay is not one of our authorized resellers. Our warranty is non-transferable, which purchasing from ebay can be from a 3rd party. We are unable to honor the warranty without an authorized receipt.

was it a company using ebay or an individual, you could use paypal to get your reciept, find the original email if you still have it

If it was a seller they should honor it, second hand maybe not

I would understand but the product was released in 2010 and there warranty is 7 years so if u buy a second hand item ur knackered

they may have the original reciept

I might buy a new one keep the receipt and RMA the old one with the new receipt

Warranties are rarely if ever transferable, unless you fiddle the system a bit by obtaining the original receipt.

Even then if the original owner has registered the product then you're
out of luck.

Yip as item wasn't purchased directly from them they are not under any obligations to support it imo

Despite that being fraudulent and morally dubious, does it not occur to you that alarm bells will ring when they check the serial number and realise?

Or even the date, it's going to look mighty odd when the receipt date is after the first RMA request only for a new one to suddenly fail with a few years worth of dust in it.

That's actually a handy thing about online purchases, the purchase confirmation email gets dumped into a folder and is easily retrievable in the event of a warranty claim.

Although, a bank statement showing the purchase of also valid.
