Corsair - What's the difference?

I must be missing something obvious and hopefully someone can clear it up for me.... Going to be buying a 4Gb kit soon and just plain confused on this one.

Couple of 4Gb kits that OcUK stock are below.

Corsair XMS2 DHX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel

Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel

The first kit has a heat spreader on top. Apart from that, I can't see the difference. I'd expect the first kit to cost more at standard price, ignoring that the second kit has just gone on one week only and is now the same price. So, what's the difference besides the heat spreader? Secondly, why would I want to pay more for the second kit if it had not just gone on special considering it would have been all but 25% more expensive than the kit with the heatspreaders?

OcUK stuck £4 on the price of the DHX sticks today. I checked on the Corsair forum and was told there that it was just the spreader that was the difference as well. Seems like the before price was too high to start with based off of the DHX price. Why should it need an offer on the XMS sticks and a price increase on the DHX sticks for the XMS sticks to be cheaper?

"Amazing" is not the word I would use to describe this particular one week offer. C'mon Ocuk!
 
As said by Kennysevenfold, It's just the heat spreader on the DHX set that is the difference and is there for better cooling

RAM pricing is continually on the rise at the moment, when it comes to re-buying almost all memory lines we currently stock the price has gone up massively.

We are just offering each line at the lowest price we can for as long as possible.
