Hi all,

As above really, I’m just starting my first PC and watercooled build and can’t work out how to connect the temperature sensor cable.

I don’t have a commander pro as I’m running Lian Li infinity fans so using the controller that came with them.

My motherboard is an NZXT N7 B650E which also doesn’t have the correct header.

Is there some kind of adaptor cable I can buy? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it's a standard two pin type thermo probe connector, then you'll have to use something like an AquaComputer Quadro connected to a spare USB header if your motherboard doesn't have a thermometer header.

The Lian Li Infinity fan controller (L Connect 3 for the infinity fans iirc) does not have any way of inputting a temp probe :'(

I have the Infinity Fans with the controller, I also use a Quadro for thermal monitoring (amongst other things, flow sensors etc), I also use that to control the fan speeds, via the L3 connector (I have the Lian Li hub set to follow the Quadro for fan control)

Thanks for your reply!

I wasn’t aware of the Quadro but that certainly looks like it’ll solve my issue - thanks!

I’ve since done a bit more digging and I’ve also got a Barrow temp and flow sensor that arrived yesterday which connects via a standard USB so I’m hopeful that’ll solve my issue but I’m going to get it all built and fired up and see what’s what :)
