corsair xms2 not posting

1) Leave it as it is, or

2) Try and get it running at the next highest speed (833 or 866 or whatever it wants to do)

If you go for option 2 then you may need to up the DRAM voltage from 1.80V as you'll be overclocking the RAM.

Perhaps try 1.85V and see where it gets you.

You may also need to loosen the timings if you can find the settings in the BIOS.

I can't see where they are in the user manual.

i tryed 833 and hangs on windows logo and wont start few couple mins

also tryed 400 mhz x 8 on cpu so i could get 800mhz dram but same again.

think ill leave it as it is for now till my north bridge cooler comes and then maybe ill try push a little more out of it

just got home and turned pc on to find the not posting again removed the xms2's cleared cmos ,left the 2 trascends in a booted up fine any idea what the problem could be ?

Perhaps there really is something wrong with the Corsair.

If you want to test it then it's back to trying one stick at a time.

Maybe try it when you've got your northbridge cooler fitted.

now running at 333 x 9 and very stable definatly an improvment . however the corsair xms2's are completly deat tryed everything again today no joy
