My issue with splitting tri channel packs is mixing the left over stick with another left over stick from a different pack.

Sorry, I have not used an ASUS board for a long time. I read that the OC options are limited for it, but am sure memory frequency can be configured. Should be pretty easy to find tbh and the mobo manual should spell it out
