Hi Folks
I have:
AMD64 3700+
MSI neo4 SLI Platinum 939
Corsair XMS4400 1GB (2X512MB)
BFG 7800GT

I've just picked up cheaply another pair of Corsair 512MB XMS4400's to get 2GB.
Any particular way of setting these up or do I just chuck em in and go?
Will I see much of a difference or should I just sell them on?
I'm clueless when it comes to overclocking but would appreciate you advice on how to get the best from the 4 sticks I have.
Thanks
Al

By the sounds of your system it seems like you're a gamer, and a lot of new games will take full advantage of an extra gig of memory, it'll mean a lot less stuttering in BF2 and BF2142 for example, aswell as quicker load times and less thrashing when exiting games.

If your memory settings in the BIOS are all set to AUTO you should have no problems just popping in the extra RAM and you're away.

Thanks minstadave, in they go.
I was just a touch concerned about some comments I'd picked up on here about 939 systems not getting on too well wth 4 sticks and not technically understanding why.

939 won't run at a 1T command rate with 4 modules installed, it'll drop to 2T which incurs a small performance hit, but the extra RAM will make much more difference in games compared to the small drop due to running at 2T.
