hi all, got no idea on psu`s which is best,
corsair hx750 or 750x,dont under stand all the letters even 750i
thanks for any help.

If you search for PSU tier list, it will give you an idea on most mainstream PSU as well as Corsair.

RMx vs RM is very little in it so probably better to go with RMx. RMi introduce link software and multi-rail control. apparently it is very nice software and feature. if you run multiple GPU or has one of those 3090 cards it may be of interest to you to have RMi.

i feel HX and AX are too expensive for what they are...since they are marginally more efficient than RMi

the AX860i is an old PSU but there is a AX1600i he s tested in 2018 the efficiency is the same.

My RMX750 suffers from coil whine so something to keep in mind.

UPDATE: Got a Seasonic Focus GX 850W today and it has the same coil whine. Sounds exactly the same. Infact i would say the PSU is almost the same and the cables are almost identical.
I wouldnt be suporised if the Corsair and Seasonic PSU's are made by the same organisation.

Nah the Corsair RM(x) series are made by Channel Well Technologies, Seasonic makes their own.
