I have a H100i which I've had working happily for over 12 months. Over the period of ownership, I've removed it 3-4 times for various reasons.

I transferred my rig into a new case yesterday and out of 8 screw holes on the H100i, I now only have 3 which bite when screwing to the chassis - its in for now but god only knows how long for and I'm using the screws provided.

Have you got a fix for this?
Is this an RMA job?

Not really. Once the hoe strips out it is too big for the correct size screw. Hole can be tapped for larger screw, but will probably eventually strip out again, If there is room for Nutsert, they might be an option. Sometimes a hole can be enlarged to install a pop-rivet. Then remove the pin and tap the hole .. effectively making a home-made Nutsert.

BUT we shouldn't have to do DIY jobs on units like this! They either need to improve the thread on the holes or mount a nut behind it.

that's easier than bolting it? damn, would you guys RMA your laptops cos the fuse blew in the charger plug too? I know things should work, but there's nothing wrong with a little DIY if its the easiest way to go...

Really? Your comparing an AIO to a consumable? I'd be worried if someone tried returning an electrical item due to a fuse.

It's a design fault that needa ro be addressed!

There may be thousands of happy owners, but there are also hundreds if not thousands who were or are not happy .. including many of first H100 buyers who had many grinding pumps, and now buyers having issues with Corsair Link.

Are you going to send him a RMA replacement before he sends you the one he has? Are you going to pay post for his RMA return? Because that is what companies with good CS do.

That's a good point considering I'll have no cooler :D

I don't think Link still works correctly with 8.1 as I still need to apply the registry fix to have any control over the fans.
