is the 520 watt corasair enough to run a core duo 2 cpu
2 h/ drive ,
1 dvd writer
a 8800super oc 32o mb gfx card

Get the 620hx i kind of regret not getting that.
A few months now I've had my 520hx both are superb but just in
case the new cards may have daft power requirements you never know.Maybe better off stretching to the 620hx ?.

Unless you want to run SLI the 520 will be more than enough.

The new cards should use a helluva lot less power than the ones we have now as they'll be on a 65nm process.

New cards will be moving towards multi-core though, manufacturing processes are getting smaller too, its usually only the 1st few cards of a new generation that are power hungry, the midrange & refreshes are somewhat more economical, so 520 will be fineeeeeeee really..

dunno really. iv seen cards that are on 90nm suck up more power than cards made on 130nm.
