Cortex Command - [ High Quality Action , strategy ]

This game's ace - so much fun.

Managed to use the dropship as in the gif - used the rockets to burn up a load of zombies then ploughed it into a base structure :D

Takes a while to get to grips though!
 
I think it came with one of the royal indie packs much later, so people used that instead of it's own thread..

Cortex Command B27 is out for Windows and Mac. This build is the final public test release before the game hits 1.0, and includes a complete campaign mode that can be played against the AI.

It's definitely come a long way, but does anyone else find the campaign is a bit unchallenging? Seems too easy to defend your territory.
 
It is worth mentioning that there are a ton of mods and custom characters available for this game! I downloaded the Warhammer Orcs and some ludicrously powerful mechs.... absolute carnage and another evening squandered!

Also a great game to play with some retro tunes in the background!
