Hi,
i recently brought a Cooler Master Cosmos 2 Case and i brought 7 Cooler Master sickleflow blue led fans.
I wired up all the fans into the fan controller on the case and when i powered it on, all of the fans were on the lowest settings and i heard a constant clicking noise so i stopped some of the fans and listened and it was still there and i noticed that the led`s were flashing, as soon as i bumped them up to the highest setting, the led`s were constant and no clicking noise anymore but ill be running these at the lowest setting.
I was wondering wether anyone knew how to stop this.
Thanks
Nathan

Sounds like the fan controller uses a slow frequency PWM to regulate the fan. This can be a problem for non PWM fans and LEDs. Lots of threads thrown up by google on this issue by the way.

Hi,

This is a known issue with the Cosmos 2 Fan controller, Coolermaster are aware of the issue. You'll need to get in contact with their Support and they should send you out a new fan controller.

Hi folks, don't know if this has been mentioned before. Some of you may have heard that there may be an issue with the original fan controller with the Cosmos II. Last month CM started to replace the controller for North American customers but there was no mention of European customers getting a replacement.

Well on Friday I sent an email to the CM European Customer Services with my case serial number and a copy on my invoice. This morning I got a reply asking for my address so they can send me out the updated version!

So if you want your fan controller updated give them an email!

Regards
Ross

Hope this clears things up
