Cosmos II Front Panel Fault - need help with its PCB for DIY fix

Hi there,

I just got my new Cosmos II case, but unfortunately, when I connected the front fan LEDs to the front panel they worked, but I could smell like one of the components burned causing the LED ON/OFF button not working now. The LEDs are constantly on, whether I press the button ON or OFF.

Please take a look at the PCB, not a very good picture, but gives you an idea of what component could burn. I borrowed this picture from another forum, before I take it apart.

I'm gonna try to fix it myself instead of sending the whole case back... I haven't contacted OcUK about this, but if this can't be fixed I'm gonna try to get them to send me the front panel only...

HELP!

Sounds like you overloaded the switch... I'd find what's burnt personally and replace that :p

Could have been a dodgy soldering connection or anything

No I did not overload nothing :P
