Hello, all. Rightly or wrongly I think I've finally decided on the Cosmos S for a new build soon. I've already read a fair bit about the problems relating to both the size of the side fan (i.e. cooler clearance) and also the quality of said fan. I was wondering if anyone knows if it would be better to completely remove that side fan or if it's benefits might merit getting a smaller cpu cooler than a TRUE, Tuniq or Noctua?

Thanks.

the first revision (which is two months over due) will move the side fan back far enough for clearance of large HSF (Tuniq, TRUE etc). from reading numerous threads over on the coolermaster boards, the problem with the fan, ie snapping of blades, seems only to happen when people remove the side panel with the fan still in operation. Also part of the revision is a fan guard to stop this happening.

If you are worried at all about the fan, its easy enough to remove (I didnt notice much difference temps wise without it), having a fan with good airflow mounted at the bottom of the case to push air onto the GFX card was far more benificial IMO.
