Hoping someone could give me a rough idea on how much it would cost to get the driver's seat and passengers bench of a Renault Master (van) re-covered
Had a quote from a local car place that does alloys, bodywork etc but they want silly money!
I'm near Edinburgh

Unless your reasoning is to get a material which was unavailable from the factory, and it's actually because of damage, It'd likely be cheaper (and quicker) to just find a used set on eBay.

I have a chap doing new foam bolsters on my mazda 3... he charges £25 an hour. Plus materials.

I expect at least 6 hours for what I asked him to do

+1 for this, although saying that it obviously depends whether you can a) find a set in a better condition, and b) find them reasonably local.

Might be worth re-watching some of the old episodes of Wheeler Dealers etc, as they have had seats reupholstered etc cheaply, and the companies etc are normally listed in the credits

Colour change or just remedial work?

getting side and Base bolsters redone in firm foam.
also having airbag taken from current seat and transfered into new.
Then leather being tarted up.

only way to get a fully refurbished seat is to have a second hand one done whilst you still drive the car ha
