Anybody posted 12" vinyl recently, how much are the RM charging?

Does £2.50 (£2.95 double) on the bay sound fair for 1st class 12" with a new mailer?

Cheers :)

I just got a double album from the bay today with a £2 postage tag. Looks like it must have cost the sender a fiver in materials and post and cost him half an hours work to pack properly now that I've got it. It did arrive second class though.

Funny cos a mobile phone battery ordered on the same day from Hong Kong arrived today also. It cost £3 p&p and was delivered in a small brown envelope with no packing at all.

I guess some countries trust their postal services more than we do.

I'd check what packaging cost and minimum postage you will have to pay but £2-3 sounds about right.

Yeah I'm currently selling all my vinyl on discogs and that's a fair price I'd say.

A premium mailer + 2 stiffeners + 1 record usually weighs in at about 0.4Kg, the postage is £1.70 alone for 1st class
