Cost of re chipping Sigma lenses

Does anyone know how much it cost to get a Sigma lense re chipped? Also idoes anyone know of a list of lense that can be re chip?

Free.

The problem only affects HSM lenses on the D200 and not every hsm lens is affected.

Its only free if you still have the receipt apparently.

The reason i asked was that i've bid £5 pound for a macro lense and so far i'm wining but the comment state the lense may need chipping (its 5 years old).

There are no macro lenses of that age which are HSM (to my knowledge), so it shouldnt need re-chipping.

I have a sigma lens I'm selling that doesn't work on a 350D very well
but works on a 20D fine and non DSLR's
they're odd things

IIRC

Chipping is free if you have the receipt, but p&p is payable

If you don't have the receipt, it's £35 + p&p

You can find if a lens needs chipping by emailing Sigma with the lens model name and serial number.
