Cost of trackpad repair?

Does anyone know roughly how much I would be looking to pay Apple to get my MacBook Pro trackpad repaired?
It seems to have a lot of 'dead zones' and just isn't responding as it should.

Unfortunately I'm just out of the 12 month warranty period as its an early 2011 model.

take it to apple and say its been playing up for months and you only just had a chance to take it in, bet they will do it for free if you play it right

Take it to Apple if they refuse to do it free then you could always try your luck and argue a case for EU Consumer law:
