i have just done a water cooled install using a kandalf case an asus p5q pro , it had a blue led on the water block so i pluged it into the cpu fan , when i start up i get a warning and bleeps ," cpu fan error " ?? if i dont have it pluged in its the same
any ideas

The CPU fan header requires a feedback line from the fan in order to judge its RPM. If you plug in any other kind of fan or light, it won't have this feedback and the motherboard will see it as a cooling failure. If your liquid cooling system doesn't have a power cable that plugs directly into the motherboard's CPU fan header, just disable the warning in the BIOS.
