I've had this pc for nearly 2 months now and so far I'm unable to work out what is causing the input lag, anyway specs below & more of a description

Intel C2D E6600
EVGA 680i Mobo
EVGA 8800GTS
2gig ddr2 (Vdata)
Hiper 580R psu
Samsung 320Gb HD
Sony DVD-Rom
NEC DVD- Writer
NZXT full tower case
Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard
Logitech mx510 Mouse
Plantronics DSP500 Headset
Viewsonic VX922 19" TFT

I cant for the life of me try to explain what the problem is let alone describe it so I'll just go into what I think it should sound like.

Playing cs or css I get shot & I'm dead, the keyboard presses appear delayed (spongey)& mouse movement is slow. The keyboard & mouse work fine on the pc I'm using now so its not that & I've even tried a ps2 keyboard on it & a mouse on a ps2 converter, results are the same.

(Not a net issue either)

Do you think this is a Mainboard fault as with my other to pc's these do not occur?

Thanx

Kev!
