Could Gears Of War be short?

Im a Single Player fan over Multiplayer a lot of the time, so a long lasting game DOES matter to me.

If not to you then fine.

I must admit I did think it seemed short when I first saw the acheivements and there were only 5 'acts'.

Should still be awesome tho, I think much like GRAW, GoW will get most of it's life from online play.

I suppose he could played it hours non-stop; theres not many FPS/3rd Person Shooters that last long i guess. Thinking to much RPG

Seems to be the pattern, I mean how long is Prey, COD2, PDZ, Tomb Raider etc. There's an insane setting (me thinks same as playing COD2 on Vet?) and I'm guessing at this it'll take slightly longer

Well that's two pre-orders cancelled this weekend

First Pro Evo 6, due to the iffy reviews on here, and now GOW..

Well two games left on pre-order, just hope they stay that way as I currently don't have any games for my XBox 360 due to there being nothing any good out at the moment....

Dead Rising, Oblivion, Prey, COD2, Kameo, Condemned, PGR3, Burnout: Revenge, Saints Row, Chromehounds, Hitman: Bloodmoney, Tomb Raider, Enchanted Arms, TDU, GRAW, FN3....

Also you cancelled a preorder for one of the most anticipated titles for this year because someone (who probably knows it inside out) finished it in a day?

There have been no iffy reviews on anything on here.

If like McD your in it for the complete solo satisfaction

then this game may not be to your liking. I reckon I will get hundreds of hours out of it though on MP.

Whats not to like Mc D they even named an achievement after you..

At the very least it looks like unlocking easy when you play on hard.

Yeah when i played hitman a few weeks ago I saw you had the full lot. I loved the game but after levelling up and finishing, restarting to play on a harder level just didnt seem worth the effort. That mustve took some doing especially the way the save system was when you went to harder levels.

Thats why I prefer the COD 2 systel of unlocks for difficulty levels. I normally only have the stomach for one or two run throughs.

I wasnt really worried about that, lol - i was simply messing about with it the other day and forgot to switch it off

I do appear "Offline" quite a lot though, i dont want you guys thinking i have no life when im on my 360 so much

Ah yeah I went normal, shouldve gone hard. I actually really enjoyed the game. Its easy and the side missions are more fun than the game but I tried restarting on hard and the game locks up on me after killing the bear in training. I reckon if you ignore all the side missions on a second run through its about 2 hours long. The only toughish bit the end.
