Title says all, just a quick question.

I'm running a 1055T six core (on stock) rig and I was thinking of upgrading soon and wondered, Could I run this?

1055T at stock would bottleneck it, but they'd run fine still, it's a lot of power, you could probably force super sampling on some games to use the GPU overhead you have tbh lol.

You can run it, but to get the best from it you will need to overclock your cpu as it will hold the cards back from giving you there best performance.

Yeah. If I decide to buy them I'll be buying a new motherboard along with it too and then taking my 1055T up to 3.5GHz or 4GHz.

Pointless buying a new board for AMD unless you can get a CH IV for 50 quid or something.

You may need to balance overclock vs performance. A 4Ghz X6 can eat up well over 300W on it's own, add to the a couple of 200W cards and you're beyond the comfortable limit of the PSU.

If you keep the cards fairly stock you will most likely be fine though.

You could buy two of these.... save £70. Overclock them yourself with Trixx or msi AB. Duel bios to 6970 aswell

Overclock you CPU to the highest you can get it and buy a 7970.. 2 of those cost 500 and u can get 7970s for £450-460 in places. Very similar performance too.

Single card, 3gb VRAM and theyre damn fast. I have one myself.
