Sounds silly, but i am trying to find a way how to get an iPhone earlier than October. One way is to pay off the remaining months on my Orange contract,but in theory could i sell it? Perhaps on eBay? Have you ever seen one for sale?

Why would you buy someones contract off eBay?

EDIT: Infact, why would anyone buy someone else contract anyway, if people want a mobile phone contract they would go in store...

its only 3 months either;

1) wait
2) pay it off
3) get the iphone and let a family member (who you can trust) to use the old contract?

I just got my son an iphone 3G. He had a samsung soul on contract he has only had it 4 months so I am going to have the sim(contract) but sell the Handset to pay the contract hope that makes sense?

I would do that if i had my original phone ,except i have this

i can't believe i asked tbh, they could proper do me in! :p

There are a couple of things you can do.
1) Look out for changes in your contract in the near past/future. Any major changes mean you can cancel the contract with no penalties (as they are in breach of contract)
2) If you don't have very long left on your contract you can ring up on o2 and ask them to buy out the rest of your contract. (yes, this does happen, surprsing as it sounds. You would presumably have to go on a pretty hefty tarriff though)

Really? So say they gave more mins for the same price, would that work?
