Could it be drivers?

Hi all, as you can tell I'm new here, so please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong area/place/section etc. :)
My issue:
I not so long ago got a new PC from yourselves, and everything was running fine, until I started playing The Division 2.
At the start I had the odd crash, DX12 got the blame of that via some game forums and youtube. I then (again via youtube) optimised the settings, around that same time the new Nvidia graphics driver came out and so I updated as per the norm.
Now, the PC will reset and reboot itself, just a blank screen, bios info, then win 10 login screen. No errors, no BSoD, no problems once I re-log in.
My temps in all dept. seems ok (via Speccy App) CPU hits 68c (31c idle), RAM 40c's, M/board 33c, G/card 72c (33c idle), and drives 38c.
Could this be drivers, settings, or worse (the internet (I know, never believe the net) says it may be lack of power/wattage???

My Specs:
Phanteks Eclipse P400 Midi Tower Case - White Window
**Build Promo**Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6GHz (Coffee Lake) Socket LGA1151 Processor
Team Group Night Hawk RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - RGB Black (TF1D4
WD Black 500GB SN750 M.2 NVME PCI-E Gen3 Solid State Drive (WDS500G3X0C)
Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200RPM 256MB Cache HDD *System Stock*
Zotac GeForce RTX 2070 AMP Extreme Core Edition 8192MB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Microsoft Windows 10 Home Advanced - Systems

Thanks in advance, Snowy (aka Brian Gregg). :)

It is a 600w bronze edition (thats all it said), and yes OcUK built it for me. I really wasn't sure where to post tbh. :) Thank you.

It's a Kolink.

I would definitely contact OcUK in the Customer Services Forum - they'll probably want it back or may offer a PSU for you to swap out if you're lucky (and confident that you know what you're doing).

Not a problem - best of luck.

Update (in case it helps others): Found out it was the Kolink 600w bronze edition, it can't handle the pressure of high CPU games like The Division 2 and TW: Warhammer2. (I ditched it and bought a gold 750w EVGA). Hope this helps any others with the reboot issue.
Thanks again for the help, have a great weekend guys! /salute

Glad you got it sorted quickly.

Did you return the whole the unit for diagnostics or did they send out a PSU for you to swap out from your description of the problem?

I would have thought OCUK would have used an adequate PSU?
Kolinks are the default option in all their base builds unless you select another (don't have the option on some, IIRC)

Presume their returns rate justify the inclusion. If members request a pre-built spec, in the New PC Forum, we (other forum members) will always bump up the PSU quality. The buyer/member will usually accept the hit once the importance of a quality PSU is explained (plus, there's usually one on weekly sale)

It's why I directed him to straight to Customer Services as soon as I established it was Kolink as it's usually a waste of time troubleshooting any other components when given certain symptoms.

didn't they offer to change the PSU for you for free?

And they will/should have done. Sometimes they send out an upgraded PSU for customers to try without returning the whole unit (speedier and easier for all involved) . A couple of troubleshooting threads I've been on the PSU upgrade was free as the customer fitted it themselves.

I only asked as he said he "brought" the new and "ditched" the Kolinks. From what he said it looks like he brought a new PSU and replaced the old one

Some member's will do that for speed if they're confident that's the problem - and don't want the hassle/wait of returns - but things may get complicated with the warranty unless cleared with OcUK first.

From his fourth eply (#10) - it sounds like, whatever he did, he cleared it with OcUK first.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear with my post. :)
I spoke to OCUK, and they asked if I had a PSU spare to test if it was that. I didn't at the time, but all reports and the heat/event logs pointed to it being something to do with power (or lack of). And it had started rebooted more often again.
So, I just went out and bought one, it isn't all bad as the Kolink 600w is now in my wifes PC, as it was sporting a Corsair CX450M 450w (both bronze editions). If it plays up again I'll just swap it back and bin it. (she watches TV or plays bingo on it (it's my old one etc. (the pc, not the wife ;)))).
I did tell OCUK after I had done it, and it was after working hours so I don't expect them to pay for it, it was my call (not that I'm swimming in money, but it saved any hassle). :)

Fair enough - life's too short and less hassle/stress for fast results have value in themselves.

That said, I would verify with OcUK that your warranty is still unaffected - especially as you saved them hassle/money. Can't see it being a problem as long as they have it recorded.
