it runs games with no problems but a few days ago i was encoding a movie for my girlfriend with blaze media pro and got a BSOD, i thought it was a one off so i started the encode again but then i got another one

here is a picture of the BSOD, i dunno if it will help figure out what the cause was or not

set your Memory to run at 2.00,this puts less strain on it,also, you could be having trouble with the voltage, thats why it shut down, what voltage are you using for 3GHz?

well to be honest i dont really know much about overclocking , i just used the instructions on the site

1. CPU Setup - User Defined
2. Multiplier - Default
3. Front Side Bus (FSB) - 333MHz (1333MHz FSB)
4. CPU Core voltage - You might need to take this upto 1.45v maximum but generally 1.4v is fine dependent on the motherboard.
5. We advice you purchase an uprated CPU Cooler such as the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro to better cool the CPU.

i just went into the bios and reset it all to the default values because the overclock wasnt really needed :p i only did it to get something for nothing

thanks for the help guys :)

always manually set the ram voltage and timings to the ram specification! for more stable clocks

auto RAM voltages are almost never the same as the RAM specifies, so always set the RAM yourself to the amount specified by the RAM manufacturer.
