Could my overclock stop software opening?

Basically my computer is overclocked not my gfx card but my ram and cpu, now everything is fine apart from the ATI control centre will not open, i have tried re installing the program no luck. What is annoying is that everything else works fine, games, torture tests, benchmarks it is just this program.

Any ideas or similar experiences. :)
 
I have had an overclock corrupt windows before, oh and the earlier releases of WoW wouldnt run under my overclock at all, but everything else works fine ofcourse :p

ATI CCC can be a real PITA. If you google 'ATI Control Center not starting' you'll see how common the problem is. I had the same issue untill I formatted and reinstalled, it works fine now.

Ah cheers for that drexel, may just try tray tools and see if that works. If I encounter anymore dodgy or non starting programs it is the overclock but it CCC is a pita then I shall leave my oc alone. :)

*EDIT* Tray tools works, hmm the plot thickens. :p
